Dr Jon Simmonds is simply amazing!
I have severe ankle arthritis, and Jon worked with the orthopaedic surgeon (Nadeem Mushtaq) to enable him to remove a large bony growth from my right ankle. During my initial consultation, Jon clearly articulated how he would elevate my ALT flat so the procedure could happen. We had a good chat about my original injury as I'd been treated at Charing Cross Hospital, and he knew my old surgeons.
During the hospital stay, Jon was kind and reassuring and he informed me how I could be mobile at home.
At the final outpatient appointment, Jon explained clearly what had healed well and what I needed to keep an eye on. The scarring is much better than I expected, a testament to Jon's surgical skills. Jon also explained that if I experience any issues, he'll be available anytime to help.
