Share review of Mr Jonathan Borrill
I had an arthroscopy on my meniscus injury by another consultant. This only helped in the short term and I was eventually given the impression that no more could be done. I was then given a knee brace and sent on my way. I'm in my forties, and whilst no spring chicken I found it extremely hard to think I would have to suffer with my injury going forward.
After a year or so of hobbling around I decided to get a second opinion. I went to Jon to see if there was indeed nothing that could be done. He advised me that it should be repairable, which I was never advised by the previous consultant.
I'm nearly a year down the line of going under the knife as it were with Jon and I couldn't be happier. I don't want to tempt fate but I'm pain-free, which I thought I never would be again. I'm just thankful I chose to get a second opinion and it was Jon I decided to see, I just wish I'd gone sooner.
