I had a total left hip replacement 5 weeks ago. The surgeon was Mr Webb. I am very happy with the outcome so far. I had two initial appointments with Mr Webb, saw him before and three times after the operation whilst in hospital, and have just seen him for a 5 week check up. I will see him next year after 12 months, and he has assured me that any issues not covered so far will be answered by him if I contact his secretary. Throughout, Mr Webb has been clear (but not patronising) in his explanations of the pro's and con's of surgery, has taken great pains to ensure the correct hip prosthesis was used, bearing mind my allergy to nickel, has carefully listened to any concerns and taken time to answer any questions of mine, even though some may have been blindingly obvious. As mentioned, I'm very pleased with how things have gone so far and Mr Webb has assured me that there is further improvement to come. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Webb based on my experience.
