I attended A&E with a major trauma after a fall consisting of4 broken ribs 2 cracked ribs ,broken collarbone & a pneumothorax. Dr Lie came to see me after a request from the pain management team ,he was very understanding and explained what options I had to manage my pain. I decided to have a procedure similar to an epidural but around my ribs which administered a local anaesthetic over a period of 5 days to the affected area . During the procedure he explained everything he was doing which was very reassuring.
