I came into Southmead Hospital for a routine hernia operation expecting to have keyhole surgery. I was seen by this doctor and he explained to me that he was unable to do keyhole surgery as the hernia was too big. He was very informative and explained everything in detail that was understandable. It made me feel at eased and reassured. After the operation he took the trouble to come and see me and explained what he had done and to see if I was okay. I would highly recommend this doctor as he is kind and considerate.
