Ibrahim is absolutely fantastic. I first met him via an a&e admission and operation on the 27th of November. Even though I was very agitated he alleviated my fears and was treated as an individual not a number. He came to see me on the ward and even opened my jam for me as I was struggling (nothing was beneath him). I next saw him on Christmas Eve and another operation was scheduled for January 7th but unfortunately was cancelled due to pcr testing delays for this Ibrahim had drove back from London to do it. (He has never told me he did that it was other staff). Unfortunately it was scheduled for the 14th of January with a different surgeon due to who had availability. That operation also got cancelled due to hospital errors but this massively worked in my favour as I got my operation yesterday and due to the continuity of care from Ibrahim I felt really relieved that he was doing the operation and even though he was still following the original planned procedure he still went through it all again to ensure I fully understood what he was planning on doing. He said hi before I was put to sleep and also said bye to me when in recovery. This morning he came to see me before 8am and ensured I’d have a speedy discharge. Whatever Ibrahim says he is going to do he does it. He is a credit to the trust and am so happy with the care I received from him. Thank you so much Ibrahim. If I find myself in a situation where I need anything like this again I will be requesting to be hopefully under the care of Ibrahim.
