After having treatment for breast cancer in 2017 I underwent breast reconstruction/Diep flap in November 2020 under the care of Mr Hazem Alfie.
From the initial consultation through to the operation Mr Alfie was the most caring, kindest and reassuring surgeons I have ever met. He put me at ease at every stage and answered all my questions as I was unsure whether to undergo such a large operation.
He went through every detail and made sure I was happy to go ahead.
I have felt very comfortable and confident with my follow up treatment from him and his brilliant team.
It is now 2 months after my surgery and I am so glad I went ahead with the procedure.
It is still early days but I am very happy with the results so far.
I can't thank Mr Alfie enough for his skill and hard work.
