On the 8 August I badly fell and fractured my wrist. After A&E, X-rays and distil radius impacted reverse procedure at Queen’s hospital, I returned home with a plaster cast. After two further outpatient fracture clinic consultations, I was advised that urgent surgery was necessary. Fortunately, on 23 August Mr Georgio Mazis performed surgery on my fractured wrist, at the Private Plus section of King George V hospital. Having been advised by Mr Mazis how serious the fracture was, he explained how the surgery would be performed; to extract the numerous particles the fracture had caused and reset my wrist. Having Mr Mazis talk through all aspects of the surgery, I felt completely at ease and in safe hands. I cannot emphasise how fortunate I was to be assigned such a brilliant surgeon as Mr Georgio Mazis. Each subsequent Fracture Clinic consultation with Mr Mazis has been very thorough and reassuring, and I can’t thank him enough. I would definitely recommend anyone seeking rotator cuff repair surgery to consider Mr Mazis without hesitation.
