I was a member of staff at Bupa Leicester and ended up after a septoplasty and a revision septoplasty with a septal perforation. Both procedures performed by Mr Murty. He was going to discharge me without telling me what had happened. I found out that my septum had a hole in it by another ENT consultant. Mr Murty blamed me for pressurising him to carry out the revision which I needed due to the first procedure being botched. What really upset me was his lack of honesty. I know procedures can go wrong but not to be informed even though I knew something wasn't right is very poor.
