Mr Van Tornout. Quickly found my problem (pneumonia) asked his colleagues to try a basic operation to clear my collapsed and infected lung under local anaesthetic which he was doubtful would work but well worth I try. As this failed he ordered a full VATS. Explaining the risks and what would be done and how I would feel after. He again ask one of his great team to do this operation as he would be busy operating on another patient. When I came round after the operation I was told he made the time to do this operation him self. Mr Van Tornout and his team without doubt saved my life. The nurses in Colltishall ward then gave me the best aftercare and got me exercising as soon as I was able to aid in my recovery. My self and my family can't thank or recommend him and his great time enough. Many Thanks Craig Briggs
