Mr Onyema was kind & helpful & listened to what I had to say. I went into Braintree hospital as a day case to have my right cataract replaced, the staff were very pleasant & attentive when I was admitted. The pre-op procedure was fully explained to me by all staff including Mr Onyema, when he came to do my check -up. He was sympathetic & polite during my operation & I felt respected. Post operatively all went well & the follow-on treatment was explained clearly to me< both verbally & on hand-outs. I was so pleased with how smoothly the whole procedure went & I was soon back home. The following morning I was truly amazed with the results. everything looked white that i thought was creamy coloured & colours were stunning, I had not realised how limited my eyesight had become! My vision has further improved since the Op & now i don't need glasses for distance vision at all. My near sight has greatly improved as well. I had an out patient check-up after 8 days & all was well. to my delight I have already been put on the list to have the other eye done. I thought thought i would have to wait much longer than that. Every day is a new revelation & I'm so grateful to Mr Onyema for carry out this fantastic Op for me! I cannot wait to get the other eye done now!! thank you so much!!
