Mr Brendan Smith treated me as a nhs patient at Royal Berks during Covid. He is an excellent Onco plastic surgeon. I wanted to understand fully my options and he took time to explain these to me and gave me space to choose. I am delighted with the surgical results. Because of the approach that he took towards breast conservation and the fact that my scars have now healed and faded- the surgery is hardly perceptible at a casual glance and when clothed not visible at all. That is because before starting surgery, Mr Smith considered how and where to make incisions in order to get the best overall aesthetic result, whilst still getting out the cancer with clear margins.
