Mr Khajuria is a phenomenal doctor. Despite being a surgeon he was on duty in the thick of it on a Saturday in Urgent Care at St. Thomas, Westminster. My son had damaged his arm in an accident, and it required expert assessment. In stressful conditions (for him as well as my son), chasing a backlog, regularly interrupted, challenged for the room, etc, etc this guy could not have been nicer. He and his team apologised for our wait, like a hotel manager would (or probably better in truth), yet it was they who were working their proverbials off to sort out the accidents of the general public. He opened the wound and assessed my son there and then in the room, and I felt complete confidence and assurance in his ability and diagnosis. I was in awe of the way he stuck to his task, despite the hassle going on around him. He exemplifies everything about the phenomenal free service that we receive in this country every day, and I admire him and his team enormously. I’m grateful he was there when we needed him.
