Although he is qualified only in respect of general surgery, he dealt with my emergency urology problem as I imagine a much older and more experienced professional urologist would. I would rate him very highly and think he has the potential for a great career in whatever branch of medicine he were to choose. Just a tiny caveat: If I were his mentor, I would advise him not to give a precise time of return to his patient (me) when he is called away, in A & E, to attend to another patient with a more serious problem - "back in half an hour" turned into a two and a half hour's anxious wait, in severe discomfort and in some pain, on no more than a hard "plank" bed in a side room. There should be some means of ensuring that the patient is kept informed, so as not to feel abandoned,
