Since being diagnosed with paget's disease in 2021, which has now been excised, Mr Patel has carried out the various operations in such a kind and professional manner, explaining along the way what was happening. He has such a calming manner that he dispelled the anxieties of a very nervous patient.

He was understanding and considerate especially when a biopsy went missing He listened and told me I could make a formal complaint but did not want to do this He sees me regularly for bcc and explains what is happening Recently I was given appt at 4.25 in January which I accepted which isn’t easy to attend due to being old but his secretary phoned me and changed appt to 2.30 which was much easier for me - sometimes people making appointments forget / don’t know age of patients….it was almost like going back 30 years when I always saw the same consultant eclvery week for 20 years( a professor of medicine)
