I never leave feedback so know this review is recognising exceptional skill and service! I had Gastric Sleeve Surgery 11/01/21, here are the important points to take away from my experience of surgery with Andrew Tsang. 11/10! Initial consultation - was informative and knowledgeable. Mr Tsang answered all my questions thoroughly and was happy to provide more detail for my inquisitive mind. I’m sure I had a double length appointment, but he didn’t usher me out, he waited until I was completely satisfied. I have health anxiety so I usually feel intimidated in medical consultations but he was a good listener and non-judgemental. This is huge benefit for anyone with mental health issues worried about seeing another doctor who doesn’t listen and treats you like a number. It was really refreshing. Day of surgery- Mr Tsang came to see me again to go through what will happen during the procedure and what I should expect after surgery. Again felt very thorough and supportive. After surgery- he did try and talk to me but going to be honest don’t remember a thing. Think I was still heavily sedated. Anyway due to covid went home the next day. I had very little pain to speak of so came off the painkillers very quickly. As I have anxiety I had some issues but I could reach out to him and he was happy to talk me through my concerns. I have zero issues post surgery, my incision sites are neat and healing perfectly. I am ahead of the curve weight loss wise and feel confident going forward with this huge life changing decision. I am happy to fully recommend Mr Tsang for both his surgical skill and bedside manner.
