I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Amobi Onumaeme. Dr Onumaeme spent an inordinate amount of time listening to my concerns pertaining to my daughter's eczema, and then went on to request relevant blood tests without treating us like pariahs. Prior to meeting Dr Onumaeme we had been to see so many doctors (being bounced between the locum doctors at my GP practise, many who were not au-fait with my daughter's medical history and were therefore ill-equipped to deal with her medical issues). We saw various doctors at the GP practise as well as several hospitals. Out of the 11 different GPs we saw at Charlton House, dermatologists (4), rheumatologists (3), gastroentrologists (1), Dr Onumaeme was 1 out of 3 doctors who took time to LISTEN without prejudice. My NHS experience has made me realise that when it comes to complex cases, patients do not receive proper treatment because doctors fail to listen, analyse the medical history, take all symtoms into consideration, request the relevant blood tests or even tabulate the blood tests correctly. Thank you Dr Onumaeme for your demeanour, diligence, patience and hardwork.
