This Dr failed to diagnose me with RA citing 'you are very young' this was close to 7 years ago now. He gave me steroids and said he would see me in 3 months. One year past and I still hadn't seen him but was riddled with RA in nearly every joint. I begged to see another rheumatologist at the hospital and was diagnosed within 5 minutes of seeing him. fast forward a few years and my rheumatologist leaves and I find myself with Dr Jilani as my rheumatologist again. The mix ups and lack of care begin straight away and after being told i would benefit hugely from infusion medication and that he would arrange funding I them wait 10 months for this to happen, he admits he never put the paperwork in at an appointment. when i finally start the medication it is life changing. however I have not seen him since. I was given these strong chemo drugs and I have never been seen since!the lack of care is scary. I now am back to square one as the infusion is wearing off so I will have to fight to be seen again and continue the medicine that is meant to be be every 12 months. I am worn down by constantly having to fight for substandard care from this Dr. I am in so much pain again , I am struggling to work , to care for my young children and to just carry on with this agony
