My knee replacement was my first major operation. I had an idea of what it would entail, Mr Shah's detailed explanation - together with x-ray -was excellent from the pre op all the way to the importance of the after care physio. Nothing was hidden , including the fact I needed to lose weight, he was quite right.
I have been to see him regarding my other knee. Again the x-ray , but a different explanation- that operations are different, the new knee could feel different to the one I have had done, take longer to heal. All common sense really, but good to have it spelt out, I like to face things head on , no heads in sand and Mr Shah enabled that.
