I have stenosis and in 2008 Mr Rai carried out an L2 decompression which restored my mobility. Mr Rai was most helpful so when in February 2023 my stenosis progressed I had no hestation in contacting Mr Rai again who successfully carried out an L3/4 decompression. My recovery was rapid until in April I unfortunately suffered a thoracic prolapse which resulted in an emergency admission to the Norfolk and Norwich University hospital where Mr Rai liaised with the NHS neurological and surgical teams who carried out a T9/12 fusion. Mr Rai maintained contact with me and on discharge arranged for me to have the necessary physiotherapy. More than just professional he has always been most caring and concerned for my welfare and I commend his exemplary attention to my needs as a patient.
