I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at the Basildon Breast Unit. I have survived with great thanks to all the staff who have helped me along my journey. I have always felt I have received the upmost of care and understanding from Dr Salih, he has been there for me giving the best care and attention that he possibly could. He has always been honest with me but aswell as that is always uplifting and has kept me feeling positive! I would like to thank all the staff members especially Dr Salih for helping me through the most difficult time of mine and my families life. I feel my family have also always been treated with so much care and understanding. They was always included, actually encouraged, to come to appointments and were always made welcome and envolved every step of the way! There are many good doctors who know how to medically treat patients but I feel I was lucky to receive such fantastic care that not only helped me medically but also helped me to mentally cope with everything that myself and my family had to deal with. I would definitely recommend Basildon Breast Unit to anyone who has to unfortunately go through what I had to. I feel I am supported and cared for in the best possible way!! XXX
