Mr Farrow was one of the Consultant Surgical Oncologists who operated on me during my complex cancer surgery in August 2022.
During my stay in hospital, Mr Farrow listened to all the questions asked by my parents and I, providing clear and thorough explanations. This was very reassuring during a challenging time.
Mr Farrow visited me regularly on the hospital wards and kindly explained to me the physical changes I would likely encounter due to my surgery, as well as during the healing process.
He also took the time to explain to me the possible mental health impacts of my treatments and informed me of the ways I could access support.
I am very grateful to have had Mr Farrow as part of my cancer team.
