I was under Dr Watson's care at the Homerton after her colleague refused to sterilise me due to my young age and the fact that I do not have any children. Dr Watson listened to me and agreed to undertake the sterilisation. At the same time she took my complaint about my extremely heavy periods seriously (which several other doctors before had not done), did an ultrasound scan (which again, no other doctor before her had even bothered to do) and found several fibroids. She then offered to remove these at the same time as I was undergoing the sterilisation procedure.
I am extremely grateful to Dr Watson for taking my wishes and complaints seriously and treating me, the treatment has improved my life immensely.
