I saw Miss Rowena Bevan privately for a chronic gynaecological issue. I was disappointed with her approach, which was rushed, dismissive, and impersonal. She did not take the time to ask me about my lifestyle, nutrition, or stress levels, and she was quick to suggest medications and unnecessary procedures. Her approach is not holistic and is frankly outdated.
I felt like Miss Bevan was more interested in pushing her own agenda than in listening to my concerns and working with me to find a solution that was right for me. I left her office feeling frustrated and unheard.
I would encourage Miss Bevan to reflect on her practice of pushing medications and unnecessary procedures to women. There are many other, more holistic and lifestyle based approaches to women's health that could be beneficial for her patients.
