For me at 38 this wasn't cosmetic surgery, this was life changing surgery. After 20 years consideration, and what seemed like a lifetime of negative opinioms from naturally 'curvaceous' females on the whole, my total lack of breasts have been transformed into a totally natural looking, womanly, femine, silhouette which I have only previously dreamt was possible. This wasn't cosmetic surgery for me, this was non-negotiable essential surgery, to put to bed 20 years of insecurity surrounding my lack of natural breasts (AA cups previously). I just wish I had listened to myself, and found Lisa and her incredibly professional team earlier. No amount of self work, therapy or counselling will have ever changed the way I had felt. One incredibly well researched operation, and one incredibly understanding and skilled surgeon and her team have changed my life forever. My only regret is I didn't follow my heart on the decision earlier. My breast implants were a 225cc Mentor micro textured cohesive silicone implant and went from an AA to a D cup. From this, I have learnt that from now on, my own voice is just as valid as that of others who do not have to every day walk in my shoes. Here is 20 years of grattidue to Lisa and her wonderful team.
