I saw Miss Williams at the Manchester Chest Wall Contouring Clinic and she was extremely professional, reassuring and approachable. I have just been discharged after having had surgery and I am overwhelmingly pleased with my surgical result. The care and consideration from Miss Williams and the whole team throughout the whole process has been excellent. Her understanding and empathy of the difficulties transgender and gender non-conforming people have in medical situations comes across clearly and was so incredibly important. If only all medical personnel were like this! One important thing to note however is that a surgeon can only do so much, the patient/client also has to take responsibility to do all they can to gain the best outcome.
