We saw this doctor in November 2022. She asked me permission to be blunt? Why would she do that? The child is neurodiverse. Not only was she blunt, she was rude. She kept touching my left leg every time she wanted me to shut up. All I wanted to do was answer things she had raised. It was a one woman show run by her. I did not give her consent to touch me, so felt offended by that. She would not let me explain the other things that we were embarking on. Like me reading appropriate books to aid my son. My son is also doing a course on Nutrition. The doctor decided that my Autistic son who was already controlling about his food that we should hand the reigns over to him and his title was now the BOSS. We were keeping a food diary of new foods so that we could show with evidence we were really trying. A boy who has a limited diet and has a pda profile. I have requested that we do not have any more time with this woman. She is very controlling. She has some very strange views on the NHS system. Apparently it is my fault I can't get a meeting with a Pediatrician - that another County can't hang onto Pediatric Locums. This doctor is very difficult to communicate to and during the consultation I wanted to leave. She is from Spain, she speaks in a disjointed way, unfinished sentences - interrupting all the time so you can not get your point across. Avoid is my advice.
