very strict with whom he sees in his clinics. Doesn't seem like he will take an add on job to help the service/team or if does will make it clear that he is doing a massive favour. I understand Doctors have a very tight schedule but it would never kill to go the extra mile for the patients and the team.

I do apologise if this was the impression I gave you. I have responsibilities to all my patients and the staff I work with. Therefore I have to be fair in what I do as that is expected of me and my ethical principles. There are times when I may need to focus on an urgent issue and delegate appropriately to others to manage other issues.
