My issue is not with the doctor but with the anaesthetist. The doctor took the word of the anaesthetist who only asked one question and from that she decided that I was not going to have the procedure. Wild unsubstantiated claims were made by the doctor that I may attack nurses or doctors after my general aesthetic or I may suffer a stroke or heart attack during the procedure, which I am certain came from the anaesthetist. This is despite the fact that I had undergone a general aesthetic three weeks ago and did not exhibit any of those reactions. Perhaps if the anaesthetist was not so prejudiced and had spent more time discussing my history with myself or the anaesthetist from my previous general anaesthetic then the procedure could have gone ahead and not been cancelled at the last minute resulting in wasting everybody's time.

Response from Dr Wai Gin (Don) Lee

Dear Sir, thank you for the feedback. I understand how frustrating this was for you and I again do apologise for the situation. As discussed, I have to take advice from my consultant anaesthetic colleague who gave her assessment in good faith. I am hopeful this will all be resolved very soon.
