This doctor misdiagnosed my mother as a type 2 diabetic. She was in fact always a type 1 and the hospital had proven this when she was admitted. Help was sought through Dr Tina and when concerns were articulated, she told us that my mum is not looking after herself. Ketones were never checked and a blood monitor was never provided. Dr Tina told us that we could take her to urgent care if it would settle our minds but she didn’t think it necessary. We were then told by the diabetic consultant that had we not have brought her in on that day, my mum would most likely not be with us today. I would really urge anyone in need of or caring for someone who needs long term care to avoid this Doctor at all costs, she had overlooked so many symptoms and indicators and could’ve cost a lady her like and a family their mother.
