Until his semi retirement Dr Conaty was my GP. He always listens, gives good advice, is friendly and approachable, and utterly trustworthy and honest. I felt complete trust from the moment I met him 20+ years ago, and I was glad to see him today (19 May 2015) for an annual review. His manner with me has always been exemplary - some years ago when my mother was dying slowly from a combination of cancer and strokes, he gently and unobtrusively looked after me as her carer. When Mum died he could not have been kinder or more realistic about my need for rest. He reads between the lines when I can't quite articulate what I mean. I was sorry when he semi retired but pleased he was going to continue with the practice, and I was delighted to see him again today.
