From reading my referral letter which stated I was keen to try a trial of thyroxine Dr Kearney refused to listen to anything I had to say just repeating that it was illegal for her to prescribe thyroxine to anyone with a TSH under 10. I asked about other tests (which was the reason I went in the first place) but was told there was no point as she still wouldn't prescribe thyroxine. I tried to explain that I had not asked for a prescription for anything but wanted further testing and an explanation for my pernicious anaemia but she just talked over me and refused a prescription again. This is NOT the standard of treatment I have come to expect from BUPA and would not recommend anyone to go and see her.
