I foolishly took the advice of a local GP and ran a Tough Mudder event with a knee injury. When I injured myself I was waiting a while before being delivered to the great care of Dr Lidder. He was very concerned for me and even gave me his mobile number if the A&E didn't do everything he said for them to do. It took me a while for me to be transferred to the hospital. His bedside manner was as equally impressive, he truly went above and beyond trying to sort out my affairs on the day, whether it was missing friends or me just trying to get my finishers t-shirt.
He had a great knowledge of trauma relating to my leg and I wasn't concerned for my well being during of of his treatment.
