This refers to a last minute appointment granted to my daughter after a sporting accident at school.
Dr Maung is one of the few healthcare professionals I've met that delivers 'the whole package' - expertise, patience, listening skills, demeanour, genuine interest, thoroughness - the list is almost endless. Nothing is too much trouble.
He puts patients at ease, thoroughly but sensitively examines them, and speaks to them competently but in language they will understand, without insulting their intelligence in the process.
Dr Maung is an exemplar of professionalism and some other GPs - especially at other practices in our rather small village - would do well to imitate him.
Recommended without reservation.
