Sometimes you walk into a GPs office and the door is a revolving one. In and out in a blur, no eye contact, the ubiquitous ' nothing i can do' quote aired before patient even has time to fully express conditions and woe betide anyone who try's to interject with a prudent question. We have all been this situation... but not with Dr Stephen French. I find Dr French approachable, genuine, caring, provides sound advice and is extremely professional.

D French is lovely, he is very calm and made me feel very welcome at the surgery. He put my mind at ease whilst completing a minor surgical procedure on my arm. I have often found it difficult to talk to male doctors but feel absolutely confident to talk to D French.

Dr French is approachable and has an easy friendly manner. He listens, and I don't just mean he gives the appearance of listening. If he doesn't know the answer to a question, he says so and then makes the effort to find out. Regardless of what he might really be thinking he always makes you feel that your opinion matters to him and that you, the patient have the right to input about your own health. I hope he doesn't have plans to move on elsewhere!
