As soon as I walked in his room I could see Dr Ali was a very busy man but after asking me how he could help me I had his full attention, as if nothing else was more important. I do not make a habit of going to the doctors, in fact, as on this occasion, I wait and try every self help thing I can before going. Dr Ali typed as I spoke, he examined me to check my version of my ailment, he listened to the advice I had been told by the pharmacist and agreed with both their and my solutions to the problem and then declared the way forward. I absolutely love this man, he is human, funny, serious, he is very knowledgeable and he is the best GP we could ever hope to have at the surgery here in Burnham. I count myself as very lucky if I can get an appointment with this obviously well liked Doctor. The new phone system seems to be working well, this is the first time I have used it but I feel it makes the whole process a lot less aggravating for all concerned.
