Dr Rastopyrov was the Consultant Anaesthetist at Liverpool Broad Green Hospital for my replacement hip operation in December 2020. He explained everything in great detail before putting me to sleep in a matter of moments. He was also teaching trainee anaethetists at the same time. He showed them how to insert a canula in my hand without any sign it had been there after it was removed! My last memory of him was watching me intently as I went over. I had total confidence in his ability.
