Dr Richards was all that you could hope for in a specialist when you are suffering pain and you do not know which way to turn. He put me at ease, engaged and asked questions, he listened carefully to any concerns and took everything that was said seriously. He then went through alternatives and helped me to have a diagnosis and a solution to my issues. I highly recommend him.

I saw Dr Richards at the Harbour Hospital and found his clinical and diagnostic skills excellent. In my case he made decisive diagnoses and came up with a clear treatment plan. On this second visit he allayed my fears concerning a flare-up of my diagnosis avoiding an unnecessary increased drug regime. He differentiated between the symptoms I was concerned about and my on-going underlying illness and gave me useful advice. I had such a positive appointment with Dr Selwyn Richards. He was professional and very personable at the same time, which put me at ease from the beginning. He listened and gave me the chance to say exactly how I felt about my condition & relevant history. He had all the up to date test results and imaging, which he explained fully and in everyday language! He also suggested a different medication for me and all was presented in a positive way.
