This Neurologist went through all my MRI Scans of my head explaining to me directly of what he found . I had Optic Nerve damage to my left eye following Colon Op. But the Scans also showed abnormalities as white matter that may have been the cause of my permanent imbalance, not Vertigo. The Nerve endings in feet up to my calves he also tested with negative sensitivity and affects my clumsy walking. I am awaiting a copy of his letter to my GP and hope that he will suggest follow on treatment. Not surgery, as I have a metallic Aorta Valve and when Warfarin stopped had to be started on Heprin . Low blood pressure and lack of Oxygen possible cause of Optic Nerve damage. Loss of blood was also due to a bleeding Duedenum Ulcer.
