Severe lack of empathy when dealing with patients. Comes across as quite arrogant and patronising.

This doctor does not have any empathy whatsoever. She doesn't listen or problem solve at all, all she tends to try to do is pass you off onto other services so that she doesn't have to deal with you. It really makes you wonder why some people go into these types of jobs when they have no intention of helping the patient, and often misdiagnosis, which has happened a few times with this particular psychiatrist. I would strongly recommend that you go elsewhere.

* Dr Beleil has been my consultant for several years. * Dr Beleil has always treated me with dignity and respect. * Dr Beleil is patient and has an excellent way of articulating difficult and sometimes abstract theories. * Dr Beleil, in my experience,has an open mind and is not fixated on diagnosis being absolute. I have seen many psychiatrists over the years and would, without doubt, say that Dr Beleil is the most competent Psychiatrist I have encountered.

Uncaring and talks over you constantly. Very little patience, and makes you feel as if you're being a nuisance. I went to see her because I needed help in the first place, I did not expect to be made to feel like a burden!
