I suffer with Fibromyalgia and I don't think my GP understands the condition. I am supposed to have monthly blood tests because of the various medications I'm on but I have only had 1 and that was months ago and only because my psychiatrist insisted on it. I am seeing 3 different specialists at 3 different hospitals and yet I haven't seen my GP in nearly a year. That said I am not criticising her as she may well be monitoring my progress, but I do wonder if it's because of my condition that she and so many other GP’s know very little about.
