I have been seeing Dr Rob White since he moved to Whitstable Health Centre & I have never been happier or more impressed with a GP. Due to having such a complex medical history he booked me a double appointment to get to know me more on my first appointment with him & from day one I’ve felt in the most capable hands. He treats you with the upmost dignity & kindness and I’ve never felt rushed or a nuisance to him, even though I’m sure I am at times! He is also pretty much always running his clinic on time. It’s obvious he actually cares about his patients and loves his job. He’s not a doctor to just throw drugs at you and send you going - he listens, explains and makes sure I’m completely happy and that I fully understand what he would like to do. He is also very happy to look at other options or alternatives if I think of another thing to try but ultimately he will explain what he believes is the best step to make and why, not “just because I said so”!! He talks to you as a human and not just a number in his list, he is extremely passionate & knowledgeable with a great bedside manner, you simply can’t ask for more. The Whitstable Medical Centre is an outstanding surgery, by far the best I’ve ever been to in my life and it is because of doctors like Dr White that make that all important difference. In fact the surgery has great reception staff who are helpful and polite plus Dr Whites secretary “Glynis Smith” is also by far one of the best secretaries / pa’s you will come across be it NHS or private and I can say that as I deal with a huge amount of them. If you need a good doctor and you are fortunate enough to be able to see Dr White then I can say with all honesty that you are in some of the best medical hands possible, he really is such a fantastic GP, be it for a sore toe or very serious conditions!
