Dr Nawaz is excellent. We couldn’t recommend him more highly. He was recommended by the ADHD Foundation and we got an in-person appointment with him at the Liverpool Clinic. He listened intently to myself as a parent and also to my sons. He was very gentle and kind and extremely understanding. One of the best things about him was the way in which he explained things, including the diagnoses and recommendations.
He is very knowledgable in neurodiversity in children. He does not rush to medicate and makes practical, useful suggestions.
Very interestingly one of my son’s was diagnosed with ADHD and the other wasn’t. He explained exactly why to them and me, in a way I was able to remember and repeat to family and friends. Sadly with little help on the NHS to get my son medication we returned to him via video link and he has started the journey to correct medication.
