In the year that my child has been seen by Dr Nawaz he has received care that is appropriate and supportive of his needs. We have found that Dr Nawaz makes any required referrals and implements recommended actions in a timely fashion. It is however a shame that the services supporting paediatrics do not seem to have sufficient staff to deal with the referrals; for example my childs SALT assessment took 5 months for an appointment then another 5 months for the SALT report to be received, significantly delaying further assessment of my child's needs. When reviewing Dr Nawaz's treatment of my child We have been very impressed with his care, thoughtfulness and professionalism. The only way our experience could be improved is if my child's medication could be dispensed by our GP as there have been times when my child is near the end of a course of medication and it has been difficult to liaise with Dr Nawaz's office to get a new prescription.
