What a brilliant GP! After my mother was treated terribly by another GP at this practice and completely neglected she changed doctors to Dr Downes and wow, what a superb doctor he is.Diagnosed her with diabetes and got straight on to her treatment, and recently was concerned about her coughing and sent her for a chest xray. Now been diagnosed with lung cancer and thanks to the quick work of this doctor my mother is having surgery to remove her lung and has a 97% chance of surviving this disease. Thankyou so very much. If only all GP's were as caring and thorough as Dr Downes. You have basically saved my mums life!! Eternally grateful.
