I saw 3 doctors at Giggs Hill over a few months in 2016 including Dr Vo twice, each time getting more severe headaches, neck pain , unable to walk straight and severely dizzy. I had been sent for an ENT check after the first appointment, but this came back as no problem and even though my symptoms were getting worse and i was barely able to move from my bed to the sofa each day - & despite asking Dr Vo twice for a referral to a Neurologist- she was reassured by my results and refused my request. i had to have a X-ray and take painkillers instead! i had asked Dr Vo if my symptoms were linked to 'a brain tumour .. ' yet she basically dismissed my concerns. She also rolled her eyes and tutted at me when i said i didn't want to take the valium she offered... I was also told by Dr Vo i was not to book any more urgent (on the day) appointments as this was an ongoing condition, so i had to book routine ones- which took several weeks of waiting each time. At both the appointments i had with her she was busy writing notes at her desk and only barely looked and examined me (and despite saying dizziness and balance was one of my main issues, didn't even get me to do the heel to toe walking test) Dr Vi also said rather than I tell her a list of my symptoms (which i was doing as i had so many new problems and knew something serious was going on, and hoped they would help her connect the dots) i could only mention one symptom per consultation??!!! when i finally got a referral from a locum Dr, the appointment came through for almost 2 months later and so whilst waiting and still getting worse almost by the day .. my parents paid for a private MRI scan- which showed a 3cm brain tumour needing URGENT removal!! my cerebellum was also protruding - meaning i had Chiari and why i had the symptoms of it getting worse when i strained or sneezed etc. and in fact i had most of the symptoms of both a brain tumour and Chairi Malformation..! I had brain surgery a week before i would have even seen the neurologist via the GP... i don't know how this practise hasn't been closed down or strongly reviewed for patient safety
