Reviews
I just had to write review to balance the other bad reviews. Dr Leat may be quirky and I’d go as far to say he is most likely neuro-divergent but super bright, hence his talking over you, but he is no nonsense and takes you seriously and he fast tracked me to surgical assessment team at the hospital. All I can say is that between him and the wonderful Dr Newton (yin-yang complimenting each) there and the secretarial staff, this surgery has been top notch for me.
Dr Leatt talks over me constantly, does not answer any questions about my condition or the medication. He will tell you that you are not in pain when you say you are. He likes to mutter words to offend and he has told me that he's an expert in all the conditions that I have been to him with but then fails to understand when the appropriate terminology is used. He loves to argue and will ask you questions only to give a comment on each answer which isn't pleasant. You go to the doctors because you have a health condition not to leave stressed and feel like you have got no where. I dread seeing him every time I go.
I found this Doctor to be reluctant to answer questions about my medication and abrup when it came to my questions.
I had the distinct impression that the views and concerns of the patient did not matter to him.
My first visit in many years and most disappointed.
