I feel like I was professionally taken care of by Dr Peter Karpati and would recommend him. I was under for a 2.5h surgery, and upon waking was not nauseous, and I have been relatively comfortable since (currently 5 days post). I was given a high regime of pain meds after going home that I did not find I needed, but I appreciate the pain-management plan that was provided for me. It was clear what I could do to manage my own comfort and at which point I should contact them for further instructions. I have been given multiple ways to contact him should I need to. The doctor was mindful of my disability, but it would have been nice to have a bit more reassurance as this was my first time under anaesthetic. I would also appreciate it in future if the Dr could check pronouns as a general note. (I use they/them, so am misgendered regularly, so I do not hold it against him personally)
