On September 17th 2015 I attended a Nurse's appointment for a blood pressure test, a blood test and a flu jab. Nurse Lisa, of the York Medical Practice, looked after me with great charm, good natured cheerfulness and humour. Beyond these fine virtues she proved to have a particularly well honed and flawless technique with the administration of injections. In fact, she was so good the needle "scratch" sensation was completely absent. I therefore have the honour of awarding her with 12 out of 10 for everything. Michael Farnham
