Medical expertise and skill is second to none that I have encountered over the years Listens to patient carefull without forming conclusions too quickly. This something of a rarity in my experience and I would suggest that best value is obtained from the consultation time by rehersing the things that the patient wants to say to the doctor in advance, or to make a bullet point list, to get the best value from the interview. I find it too easy to regret later what I forgot to describe at the time: it might have been relevant
